The significant priority given to end this menace is reflected on the Goal no. 5.2 of Sustainable Development Goals which states “Eliminate all forms of violence against all women and girls in the public and private spheres, including trafficking and sexual and other types of exploitation.” In India, Domestic Violence is a recurring issue that needs to be addressed.
