Furthermore, a comprehensive operation note is indispensable for the purposes of conducting research and auditing. In compliance with the guidelines published by the Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS Eng) in "Good Surgical Practice," surgeons are obligated to ensure that all medical records are legible, complete, and contemporaneous, and that they contain the patient's accepted identification details.
